This is definitely worth $50 for a family! The butterfly enclosure is beautiful. They land on you, are abundant and the talk is informative and educational while still keeping the kids attention. Have lunch here too as the staff are friendly and the prices are fair. The maze is an added free bonus and lots of fun. Highly recommend!!
Nice place for the kids to have a closer look at the butterflies and even how they start out before they turn into the colourful creatures. I will worn you now, it’s very very hot and very humid inside. I had to leave the room couple of times to just get my breath back, kids were fine didn’t seem to care.
Impressive well ordered butterfly house. Good range of butterflies to see. Good information provided in the facility. Great to be able to talk to the butterfly keeper too. There’s are a small variety of insects on show as well. The facilities here are spotless and very well ordered. Very nice cafe here as well with a limited range of drinks and snacks. The coffee was good. The all in all cafe deal on entry is good value. The gift shop items were very reasonably priced including Australian made pewter spoons and letter openers. We enjoyed it here. Allow an hour to have a good look at everything.
Great place to visit - BUTTERFLY HOUSE, staff are very friendly and helpful, always willing to help you providing with any information that you can ask for. The gift shop has a good variety of things to buy. Also they have some special things - hand made silver cutlery (spoons, teaspoons, knives, etc) at very reasonable price! The place itself is not big, so don't expect long hours walk. But there you will have a great variety of butterflies and with some luck you might have a butterfly land on you! Very good place for families with kids. Great experience and of course beautiful photos of gorgeous butterflies!
Great place for a fun family day out the Butterfly house was spectacular with so many butterflies, some even landed on the kids which made their day. The insect house was cool with some interesting insects to be seen. The kids played in the maze for ages which gave us a chance to enjoy some nibblies and a drink in the Cafe.
