Dorrigo National Park, Coffs Harbour Reviews
Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend a visit. Suitable for all ages and activity levels. Even suitable for those not interested in nature. Great Cafe and lovely gift shop. Information about the wildlife and plants is easily accessible and easy to understand. Long walk is 6km and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
Quite simply, this is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen! We would say if you only have time to visit one rain forest in Australia, make it this one. In one day we did the Walk with the Birds Boardwalk, the Crystal Shower Falls walk, the Lyrebird Link Track, and the Sky Walk Lookout at the Rainforest Centre. All were magnificent, and since none of the walks was that long we were able to fit it all in easily.
Went for a walk on crystal falls loop, the nature observed on the path was really good and included a number of birds, lizards and trees. The paths are well managed and were asphalt, making for an easy walk. Be warned that there is an amount of decent and then ascent on the loop. Also, there are no toilets on the path.
Beautiful place. You must go on early morning to enjoy this peaceful forest. Walks are too short. No more than 2h30. Concreted trail is not really nice and sometimes you can ear cars on the road...
Well worth the full walk if you love nature. The trees and ferns are breathtaking. Crystal shower falls are soooo beautiful.
