About Pet Porpoise Pool, Coffs Harbour
The Pet Porpoise Pool is a popular attraction among the tourists. Apart from the obvious ‘porpoise’ the aquarium also plays host to a few reef fish, baby crocodiles, seals, penguins and turtles. There’re interactive shows held, on a daily basis and yes, it’s possible to get kissed by a dolphin. They have a few other private shows where you can play ball, swim and pet and feed the dolphins or the seals- the prices of these group tours vary depending on the season.

Pet Porpoise Pool, Coffs Harbour Reviews
Perfect place for dolphin lovers! I booked the tickets online and got a free photo when we got bought our pics clicked by the staff. The dolphin kisses are amazing.... Zippy the dolphin was given enough time to relax and play and we enjoyed watching it play ball with the staff. The penguin feeding is a delight... The seals were so active and posed for pics! Very friendly staff who immediately called me back when I asked for the pictures to be emailed.
We enjoyed it so much. The place is small but plenty actions going on. We had so much fun and collected many memorable event. The Dolphin presentation is so entertaining. The Dolphin kiss was slippery and the seal hug was fishy but it was awesome to experience it without paying extra. My two sons loved it so much.
We went here today with our children aged almost 3, 5 and 13. I just want to say the animals here look well loved and their carers and trainers really care about their well being. Paola was such a lovely member of staff and took the time to show us a 1.5 year old seal or sealion im not sure which is correct. She was so beautiful and kind. The people that did the marine show were incredible entertainers and they were so careful with the animals you could tell they absolutely love them. This exceeded my expectations and is a must see family event. I have photos of me when I was a toddler from the pet porpoise pool and now I have photos of our kids. The young man who's name starts with i from the penguin feeding area was polite and so patient with our kids. The $105 entry fee was well worth it and we got to cuddle a seal, feed baby penguins and touch a dolphin. The animals are incredibly talented and I got so emotional with joy that I got teary. Well worth the visit I would go back. The food in the cafe was good too. Thank you so much x
My family and I had a wonderful day. The animals seemed very happy and content and we loved getting close to them. Staff were friendly and seemed to have an excellent rapport with the animals. The gift shop and cafe were reasonably priced.
Great for one on one interactions with the animals. You can get kisses from seals and dolphins before the show, which are professionally photographed however you are able to take your own photos as well for FREE. Hand feeding the seals penguins and fish are also part of the entry fee as well as Petting the dolphins bellies after the show. All in all even though the park is small and the entry price can seem steep the experiences are so personal and well worth the price. Any other park would charge excessively for activities this park gives away for free.
