Adi Yogi Statue, Coimbatore Reviews
A very big statue of 108 feet height of Lord Shiva in the form of Aadhi Yogi, the source of yoga and meditation. It is more of a tourist attraction than a spiritual spot. A architectural marvel for Coimbatore. Very huge parking space where 100s of vehicles can be parked. There are Bullock carts shuttling between the statue and temple giving a different experience.
Awesome looking statute.. which can be viewed from a distance. Aura of the statue is illuminating and astoundingly superb. At night it GLOWS....literally with the charisma of lord Shiva....adding the glaze is the moon atop his head. Serene look of lord Shiva with a tinge of smile gives a soothing feeling in your heart. Must visit place in India who follow lord Shiva.
Good place. Located at very remote place. It is better to go there morning or in the evening. Noon time it will be too sunny and there is no shelter. Siva statue is so good to watch. It is an epitome of sculpture art. Ample parking is available. Place is too dusty. Minimim two hours required to finish the place. No rat race is possible.
Adiyogi statue is around 115 ft tall and is a beautiful sight. Going near the statue itself makes you feel energetic. Do visit this place if you are around. It is one of the best and most relaxing and calm places to be at in Coimbatore. I'll definitely recommend you to visit this. Also visit the ashram in the same place.
This face is not a deity or temple, this is an iconic inspiration. In pursuit of the divine, you don't have to look up because it not somewhere else. Each of the 112 possibilities is a method to experience the divine within you. You just have to pick one. The idea is not to build one more monument but to use it as a galvanizing force towards self-transformation."
