Science Museum Of The University Of Coimbra - Review
Though this interactive science museum in the northeast corner of the university is part of the university campus, it’s more functional to think of it as its own attraction. In addition to exhibits that cover various disciplines of science, also check out its collection of historical scientific instruments and hands-on experiments. It is housed in the historic Laboratorio Chimico building. The main exhibit at the museum is the Secrets of Light and Matter, which takes you through Newton’s insights, wave-particle duality, and even human vision! The other collections are from the Enlightenment period, focusing on Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Natural History and Medical Science. Check the museum website to find out about upcoming events.

Science Museum Of The University Of Coimbra, Coimbra Reviews
An interesting place with a lot to learn about physics, chemistry and biology. In general the Coimbra university is a very impressive place to visit. The people of Coimbra seem to be very proud of the students and the local "Fado" scene seems to be dominated by them.
Cool little museum, just a couple of rooms really- the first featuring some interesting old science equipment, and the second with some neat 'interactive' exhibits on light waves, colour, etc.. You can also buy tickets for the library and other buildings here, if that's what you're after, as the queue will be shorter than the main ticket office
This is an amazing museum, it's perfect for kids: there is so much to see and to learn! You could easily spend half a day there! Don't miss out on it!
Great optics exhibits. A very hands on approach to learning some basic principles of light. We visited with a pass that included entrance to the library which made it a reasonable deal. The museum itself we went through pretty quickly.
Irregular! The physics and the natural history parts are really nice, but some other exhibitions were small, full of broken things and not engaging at all!
