The Airport Park is a great relaxing spot with its two sand volleyball courts, 2 soccer fields, two tennis courts, four softball fields, six horseshoe pits, Baseball diamond, Basketball court, open playgrounds and volleyball court. Needless to say, the park attracts a lot of youth and kids because of its so many gaming features. The picnic shelter and the pavilion with a capacity of hundred people can be rented for weekend picnics, birthdays or other social events. The 1.3 miles of jogging trail is well groomed. It is transformed into a cross-country skiing path in winter. The well-lit outdoor skate rink is installed in the open parking lot. Don’t forget to check out the historical log schoolhouse that acts as an information center and museum.

Airport Park Reviews & Ratings

  • A very nice park. Lots of baseball fields and open spaces. The pavilion is a great place to have a picnic or get together. Being directly connected to the bike path makes this a great resting point before continuing on to the cosway. Plenty of parking, and a super fun playground. Only complaint is that there can be limited shade sometimes, but it really isn't much of a problem.

  • Clean, Nice Park, Easy Parking. Only Downside Is How Windy It Always Is. If Your Dress For It, Its Not Too Bad!

  • Nice fields n playground for little kids. Picnic tables, a pavilion and restrooms. Great stop near the bike path as well.

  • Seemed like a nice park conveniently located along the bike path. It's a great place to stop and eat lunch or go to the bathroom while on your bike ride. They also have recreation fields where you can play ball and enjoy the weather. It seemed very clean too

  • Very nice park, but watch for the seagulls they perch on the roof of the povilian and steal your hot dogs (Out of the pan!) when your back is turned to get the buns... Grumpy at the time but an experience that will be remembered :)
