  • Park ranger came and found us on the shoreline because they didn't give us a sticker at the gate. He was super friendly and more than happy to answer our questions about the park. We will be back.

  • This State Park is one of my favorite places to go. It has cabins for rent. Camping spots where you can pop your tent. A fishing dock. And restrooms with showers. The boat ramp is kinda steep but concrete. And a dock there too. Lots of awnings with a bench table and BBQ pits. It has enough water to get your boat in the water with no problem. But as it gets hotter the water level will go down. Go see it for yourself. Great get away.

  • Stopped here to stretch or legs and see what this park was like. Plenty of camping but not much shade. Cabins look nice. No lake access next to them though. A couple of short hiking trails with a little more in progress.

  • We decided to get off the road due to storms. The staff and hosts were awesome, leaving gates open so people could get to safety and constantly monitoring the weather to keep visitors safe. It's a beautiful park, wish we had more time to enjoy it.

  • Spacious site with full hookups and some shade. Remote location is very quiet. Restrooms are rather outdated. Mostly full campground on Easter. Adequate camping for the price as long as you have already purchased an annual pass. Staff called ahead of time to verify my late arrival and provide the gate code. Very considerate!
