Love. Love. Love this place! I have been going here ever since I was a little tyke. I usually get the same thing every time, but every time it is amazing. I love the German Salad they give you before your meal. They can be VERY busy, so it is best to make a reservation. I like to sit down below versus upstairs, but either way there is a nice ambiance. My husband likes the different German beers they offer. I send everyone this way. The staff can be very short with you and not have much of a personality, but they keep your drinks filled and leave you to enjoy your company. It is our family tradition to go every year at Christmas time!
I was looking forward to eating here based on the reviews. The highlight of our dinner was definitely the escargot appetizer and the salad. We were pretty disappointed with our main entrees as the meats were rather bland. The food is pricey as well which would've been fine had the main entrees been better, not worth it for our experience I'd say. Good atmosphere and yes the servers lack some personality, but they also leave you to enjoy your time at the restaurant.
This is my favorite German restaurant!!! The food is so fresh and amazing! Today we were in a time crunch, as soon as we told our waitress she was right on it!!! It was like 10 minutes flat but don't make the mistake in thinking they just slapped it on the table and ran, it was full meals, nice presentation, and as always so yummy!!!! Thank you so much this is exactly why my whole family keeps coming back for more with all their friends and family from out of town! Great food and awesome service!!! It's not a Colorado trip without coming here!!!
The food was fabulous. However, that quickly got ruined when the bill came. So before we went, we looked up the menu and prices online. The prices online were literally half the price of what we actually got charged. There was 6 of us. My husband, my self, and our 4 children. We only bought meals and water. They charged us a service fee of 18%. Our total for 6 people was $178. The food was not at all worth that kind of money for 6 people. Never again will we ever go here.
My husband and I had the combo dinner meals to get a taste of everything! We loved all the food and flavors! The food is very well prepared and the service staff rocked! We even had some live music by a man who plays the accordion! Would defiantly recommend to friends and family!
