  • Absolutely wonderful! No idea how I've lived here for almost 20 yrs without trying this place. Everything was so delicious! The bread pudding though was to die for!!! I don't even like bread pudding, at all, and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven eating theirs. Seriously! Staff were friendly enough and the gentleman playing the accordion was very fun and playful when my toddler danced to his music. Very skilled musician!

  • Five stars is not enough for this incredible Colorado Springs restaurant. The food is exceptional and unique and the service is excellent. Truly this is one of the best kept secrets in our city! We recommend Edelweiss to everyone we know. How could anyone not be a regular customer?

  • There was a wonderfully extensive menu. I asked my server for a suggestion and it was a breaded pork cutlet with a fancy sauce that had chopped pickles and other things in it. My entree included sauerkraut (at my request) plus fried potatoes. It also cake with salad that was delightfully German. It had beets, pickled green beans, German potato salad and thin sliced cucumbers. Also included were hard rolls and butter. For dessert, I chose a seasonal plum torte. Seasonal, because the Italian Plums are only available for a short time during their prime harvesting season. I would highly recommend this 50 year old restaurant.

  • Great service. We sat on the patio. Wonderful atmosphere. The food was spectacular! Waitstaff checked in regularly while we were there. Portions quite large. We had take home boxes so we could try dessert. Outstanding! Very impressed from German beers on tap to melt in your mouth desserts. We will be back.

  • A very German place! The food is great and authentic, the portions are large, and the desserts are awesome. The patio is very popular, so if you'd like to sit there in the summer go early. On our latest visit I enjoyed the live musicians, but my husband thought they were a bit loud, and we were both glad they didn't come sit right by our table like they did some folks. We do both like the ambient music in through the speaks though. The service is attentive and we don't wait long for anything. The food and atmosphere is something we both love and it brings us back again and again, so five stars ;)
