Edelweiss German Restaurant, Colorado Springs Reviews - Write a Review
When we walked into the door, we were greeted by polite staff and were quickly seated. They have a nice selection of meals and the waiters are knowledgeable about the dishes that they serve. I’ve never been to Germany, but this place has an authentic “feel”. I have only been here once, but I fully plan on returning as soon as I can.
We eat at Edelweiss several times each year. The food is excellent, very authentic. The desserts are to die for, wonderful torts and strudels. The stollen at Christmas time is the best we've ever eaten, always moist and very tasty. Comfortable seating and warm fireplaces with many Germany decorations. Our favorite German Restaurant on this side of the Atlantic.
Phenomenal, authentic German restaurant. Great selection of imported German beer. I ordered the wienerschnitzel with the ram sauce, both of which were delicious. No room for desserts although they looked great. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive.
I've eaten both lunch and dinner here many times over the 45 years I've lived in Colorado Springs. Have never had a bad meal yet! And they're really nice when it's your birthday! Highly recommend the pork schnitzel!
Fantastic local place for authentic German food. Had a good variety of different dishes from the region and a decent selection of beers. Portions are large, value is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. You'll want to stick around to soak in the ambulance and let your food baby digest!
