Since 1975, Michael Garman has been honouring American heroes, with his remarkable sculptures. Now, the artisans working at the gallery reproduce over 500 sculptures that were given shape by the legendary craftsman himself. The main highlight of this museum is Michael Garman's Magic Town, an extraordinary 3000 square foot miniature city built at a scale of 1/6th that has been drawing visitors from all over. Inspired by Garman's experiences as a vagabond in 1950' and 60s; the exhibit shows off his time in Buenos Aires, Santiago, San Francisco, Dallas and Philadelphia. The visual and sound effects add in to the artistic marvel of Magic Town, and is a must see when you visit Colorado Springs.

The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery Reviews & Ratings
Awesome place! The 3D recreation of the olden times is mind blowing! Michael has such a vivid imagination. His talent and vision with this is absolutely spectacular! Steve and Laura were absolutely awesome in explaining how Michael put this together and how he came up with the concept. If you enjoy looking at the past, you'll be amazed at how much detail this exhibit has. You'll truly get a glimpse of the past.
Magic town inside the museum is amazingly detailed. Definitely worth the admission and you can take as little or as much time as you like to go through it. There is a scavenger hunt available which can be a fun activity for all in the family.
This is such a neat hidden gem! Michael Garman makes amazingly detailed sculptures of different occupations. The best part is Magic Town. It's a small fee to enter into magic town that is inside the gallery. It's literally a small town with all kinds of characters and scenes with mirrors that makes for a fun time of seeing things that aren't as they appear. They also offer a treasure hunt along the way. This is a good rainy day activity and also good for children!
Remarkable! One of the best things I have seen since visiting my friends Pete and Jill!. I would recommend this art gallery to everyone! Good price and very nice people working in the gallery! It’s a one of a kind place to visit! Visit there, you’ll be happy!
Small place, but very fun especially with the scavenger hunt. So much detail. I will definitely be going back.
