H.O. Cook State Forest is a park which covers an area of 1,620 acres. Out of these 1,620 acres, 27 acres of land provides shelter to some exceptional animals and plants. Next 80 acres contains trail corridors and roads which give you the opportunity to enjoy activities like horseback riding and hiking. During winter, it also provides some seasonal activities like snowmobiling. It houses a water feature of 100 feet which covers an area of 146 acres where you can go fishing. As some portions of the land are covered with dense forest, it also encourages activity like hunting. As H.O. Cook State Forest concentrates on preserving deer, you can find innumerable varieties of the same here.
