This facility focuses on researching and collection American cartoons, and is the largest collection of its kind - 450,000 cartoons, 36000 books, 51000 serial titles and 2.5 million comic strip clippings. It's fascinating, particularly the running concurrent temporary exhibits. Even though the exhibits are only in a small area of about three room, they are always fascinating! To see the collection outside the exhibits - original art, books - you have to visit the Library. The catalogues - topic, cartoonist, manga, manuscripts - are online and the item you want must be requested two days prior to your visit. Use the attraction website.
