Home of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, this stadium is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Depending on the event (basketball, hockey, arena football, concerts) seating space varies from 17000 to 21000. While the best way to experience the area is at one of these events, guided tours held on weekdays can be quite fun. They take you through the Main Concourse, the Bud Light Terrace, FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line store, the Club Level, the Pizzuti Club Lounge, and the OhioHealth Ice Haus.

There is one tragedy associated with the arena, that of 13 year old Brittanie Cecil, who was struck in the head by a flying puck deflected from the rink. A lighter piece of trivia is that the arena is built on the location of a former prison parking lot.

  • Went to Nationwide Arena in Columbus for a Joyce Meyer conference with one of my best friends and it was a great Arena. Great parking right there adjacent to the Arena. Great signage so you knew where to go. Plenty of restaurants within and located directly outside of the arena. Great view and sound within the seating areas. I always love Columbus. ❤️

  • Home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Always have a great time there. Whether it is a hockey game or concert the venue is great. There is a variety of different kinds of food and beverages. The food is decent though I think a little bit on the pricey side. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from outside the arena. The facilities are kept clean. The staff is also very helpful.

  • First hockey game! They won! I was so impressed and happy for the win and the experience! The people were nice and very helpful. It's a huge arena so getting lost well could be easy but there's always someone to help. I can't wait to go back.

  • I had never been here before, due to finances was in the upper seats and while there was a clear view of stage it was too far away to make out the features of the performers but this was expected , unfortunately the view of the big screen where I could have seen them was blocked by a lighting boom hanging from the ceiling and cutting across the entire screen where their faces were, this was very disappointing and I wish the seating charts would have mentioned this or another screen would have been more visible for upper rows. That being said the sound was fantastic ( it was Queen ) and the seats were easily accessible and comfortable.

  • I visited Nationwide Arena for a Twenty One Pilots concert. The venue exceeded my expectations. The event was organized very well. The venue was air conditioned (at moment I visited it was the hottest day of the summer so far) which was very refreshing. Twenty One Pilots also put on an amazing show. I would not hesitate to purchase tickets for another event at Nationwide Arena.
