Villa Carlotta is a museum cum botanical garden which was established in the late 1600s and located on the top of the sober terraced Italian Garden facing towards Bellagio peninsula. It is three storeys complex out of which only two give access to the public. Here, you can find numerous art collections of various artists including Hayez, Migliara, Thorvaldsen and Canova along with some antique furniture of many owners. You can even find the stunning views of Bellagio and Grigne dolomites here. Adamo Tadolini’s Eros and Psyche, Luigi Acquisti’s Mars and Venus, Antonio Canova’s The Muse Terpsichore and Francesco Hayez’s The Last Adieu of Romeo and Juliet are some of the famous sculptures those you can find in the Villa Carlotta.
