Coomera Waters Tavern, Coomera Reviews
It was really busy, which is a good sign. They have nightly specials. (Heads up. The specials in there were different to on their website. Was told the one on the website hasn't been available for months. Was looking forward to a seafood basket lol) The staff we polite an helpful. Outdoor dining was our only option cause it was so busy. But there were gas heaters everywhere to keep it warm. And I must say. I loved that it is right on the water. The kid's loved looking/talking about all of the boats. (Otherwise there is nothing for kids) Go there. It's nice
I had to take my meal back because they got it wrong, once it was returned to me, the steak was over cooked and the veggies, which were given to me on my old plate, where cold and I had to ask for the sauce. I didn't take it back because the persons meal was already going cold. However the prawns were yummy. Great view of the water. So overall, nice for a drink, not for food.
Service is shocking, no atmosphere in this place at all. The staff treat new customers as if they were not allowed. Very strange? We asked for the food menu and we're told to order within the next 5 mins as the kitchen was closing. The funny thing was only a few people were drinking there? We were on holiday and if we ever come back to Australia, we will never ever go back to this Tavern?
Great feed support the community friendly staff quick service
Nice little spot. Decent food. They need to do something about making it clear which glass doors you can go in and out of to get to tables outside. Me and quite a few other people went to go out what looks like doors (A sign saying push) but they are all locked. Other than that, it's good
