Soren Kierkegaard was a famous Danish poet, philosopher and social critic and a theologian who wrote some of the best philosophy books in the country. His work defies the idea of Christianity and the institution of church – a school of thought that broke ground and forced people to rethink their idea of faith. Today, in the middle of the beautiful Library Garden, the statue of the famous reformer is placed to pay tribute to one of the most loved, global iconic figures of Denmark.

Come here to see the beautiful statue made by sculptor Louis Hasselriis cast in bronze that adds to the ambience of the gardens. A walk around the Library later, is perfect to end the visit.
