This is possibly the most fantastic time your kds will have in this city. Random scence exhibits are sacttered all over the place, and as you approach them for a bit of fu and games, a staff member will suddenly pop up, deliver a short but fascinating lecture and then leave you to it. Kids will get an interactive scientific experience where phenomena both common and rare are explored; it’s a literally a massive science playground with some pretty fantastic shows. You’l easily spend a massive chunk of your day here.

  • Pack your own lunch. The cafeteria here is very average.
  • Don’t bother visiting unless kids are tagging along.

  • Great place to visit on a rainy or cold day. Almost all of the exhibits are interactive and there are exhibits for all ages. We especially like the Denmark-specific exhibit on power and shipping. Very informative and fun.

  • I cannot think of a better place to visit on a rainy day with a child but there is something for all age groups. I saw 80 year olds enjoying themselves. It is very interactive and you can touch or even get inside of almost everything :) You can easily spend the whole day here - even bring your own food. It is on the expensive side but then everything is in Copenhagen.

  • Absolutely brilliant hands on kids experience. Easily spend half a day interacting with all the experimental items. Take the 1a bus from Copenhagen and get off at Tuborg 5 minute walk. Definitely worth doing if you have children. Cafe on site also for lunch although you can take a packed lunch. Lockers on site to leave all your stuff. 10 out of 10.

  • A great place to visit, especially on a rainy day. The kids spent the entire day here and still we didn't cover it all. We are in Copenhagen for just one week, but probably will spend one more day in the experimentarium.

  • We loved Experimentarium! My children, aged 7 and 8, would probably love to go there every day. The soap bubbles were especially fun. It is informative and fun which is great for the parents as well! We all had fun and we are staying much longer then we planned.
