Experimentarium - Review
This is possibly the most fantastic time your kds will have in this city. Random scence exhibits are sacttered all over the place, and as you approach them for a bit of fu and games, a staff member will suddenly pop up, deliver a short but fascinating lecture and then leave you to it. Kids will get an interactive scientific experience where phenomena both common and rare are explored; it’s a literally a massive science playground with some pretty fantastic shows. You’l easily spend a massive chunk of your day here.
- Pack your own lunch. The cafeteria here is very average.
- Don’t bother visiting unless kids are tagging along.

Experimentarium, Copenhagen Reviews
Really nice place to visit. There is a lot of exhibition for all ages in this hands-on science museum. You can bring your own food and beverages and there are many places to sit and enjoy your picnic. There is also a lot of free lockers if you you have alot stuff with you. If you plan on visiting this museum more than twice than I recommend buying a season pass as a single admission price is about to half of the season pass price.
Ticket prices are not too expensive considering it is Denmark. You can bring in your own food and drinks. Plenty of learning via play for every child, even the grown up ones. Special areas for young children to play, stroller parking and quiet corners can be found throughout the entire building.
We loved Experimentarium! My children, aged 7 and 8, would probably love to go there every day. The soap bubbles were especially fun. It is informative and fun which is great for the parents as well! We all had fun and we are staying much longer then we planned.
Hours of fun for all ages. Lots of educational games and experiences. You can easily spend an entire day there.
Excellent place to visit with kids. Almost all exhibits are hands-on for both kids and adults. They also have an area for for 1-5 year olds. The cafeteria is big, and although they don't have great variety, what they have is good for a cafeteria. Expect to spend at least 3 hours here.
