At the Geological Museum you can investigate and uncover progressively about the Solar system and the Earth, and the powers of nature which have formed our own particular planet and life upon it through a large number of years.

You can see minerals from everywhere on the planet, one of the planet's best shooting star gatherings, a bit of the moon carried home by Apollo 17, fossilised creatures, plants and the land development of Denmark and Greenland.

The gallery's exhibits can be dated as far back as the 1600s and the Royal Cabinet of Curiosities. This is among the series of museums that also act as educational institutes taken care of by the University of Copenhagen. Hence, one can find these facilities to be state of the art.
