Kultorvet - Review
Located close to the famous Stroget street known for its variety of shops, the Kultorvet is a public square where you can stop by to enjoy a meal at one of the many cafes that flood the place.
The name of the square ‘Kultorvet’ translates to ‘the coal square’ and was original where people would come to buy coal for cooking purposes. After the great fire of 1728, this square was re-constructed to provide a public space for locals and today, its essence still remains in the flower shops, canopied restaurants and its casual ambience. The surrounding historic buildings spin their own magic into the place and give it its timeless appeal. Don’t forget to take a walk around Frederiksborggade that was designed by Valdemar Ingemann and also take some time out to see the building located on the corner of Købmagergade (popular for its Historicist style of architecture). Stop by at the square if you are looking for a bustling yet charming spot in the city and don’t forget to click some fabulous pictures when you visit.

Kultorvet, Copenhagen Reviews
Extremely picky when bags go through security. Apparently they only allow you 1 small bag per person I had 2 small bags for toiletries and suncream. They did allow this after it was crammed into 1 bag which clearly they could not see properly through the scanner. First airport I have been to that has been like this.
Excellent food, good beer, good service in a wonderful place
Great place for chillaxing
Best budget restaurant i Copenhagen.
Gold spot in the heart of the city
