Louisiana Museum Of Modern Art - Review

The first impression one has of this museum is one of harmony. The landscape, the gardens, the architecture and the collection all blend together to create a seemless atmosphere that keeps with you tll you leave. The collection covers a wide range of art post WWII, and has quite a few tems by the masters (Pcasso, Keifer, Jorn). There’s a concert hall with some pretty incredible acoustics. The statuary outside the building is magnificent, overlooking some awesome views of the sea. Oh, and the buffet is fantastic.

Louisiana Museum Of Modern Art, Copenhagen Reviews

  • Louisiana museum is one of my favorite museum! The architecture is absolutely amazing surrounding by nature, a lot of trees and near by sea. There also have a lot of exterior sculptures, you can enjoy art and nature in meantime. They have plenty of modern and contemporary artworks, the atmosphere of space is nice and tranquility. You can spend all day in this wonderful place❤️ They also provide buffet during dinner time with reasonable price! Highly recommended, it’s definitely worth to visit. 🌝🌝

  • Beautiful art museum with nice exhibitions and even nicer surrounding! The museum had a fascinating exhibitions combining art and science about moon. There were a couple of other exhibitions on colors and men & masculinity. These exhibitions change regularly. The museum has a scenic area located right next to sea. The views are stunning. It has beautiful gardens and lakes to spend a day. It is a bit far (an hour) from Copenhagen city, but very conveniently reachable with train.

  • Beautiful grounds and I loved the special exhibit on the moon in art in many different mediums. The rest of the collection was cool but your are either into Modern Art or you are not. Lots of neat little trails to explore the will take you all the way down to the waterfront. The only drawback I would say is the crowds which made perusing at a moderate pace hard. Overall if you like Modern Art then this is a must.

  • A brilliant place to visit if you want to get out of Copenhagen for a day. It's a beautiful location with great sculpture and modern art. The house and grounds are well landscaped and everywhere you walk you come across sculpture (although it would have been nice to have some longer walks but I think they are restricted by how much land they own). There's also a great mixture of sculpture, painting and video inside. It's only 30 minutes from the central train station in Copenhagen and a 10 minute walk when you get there.

  • A wonderful collection of art and exhibits. I would love to see the garden when construction is done. Seems like it will be a lovely place to enjoy. So much to take in. Expect to spend several hours to see and take in everything. And I love that they stay open so late. We were able to drive up to kronborg castle and stop at this museum on our way back without feeling rushed. It was a great experience.
