Mad & Kaffe, Copenhagen Reviews - Write a Review
The open face tartar sandwich was absolutely perfect. The flavor and seasoning was amazing and the portion is generous for the price. We also very much enjoyed the avocado sandwich and the juicy burger with well-cooked and very tasty fries. It was busy but the service was fast and the staff was attentive and very friendly. We loved this place and will surely be back soon.
Excellent brunch! You choose various small dishes, which composes your “plateau”. So you get to try different things. Very friendly staff. Long waiting list during the weekends but everyone gets seated more or less. Just be prepared for some waiting. Enjoy amigos!
By far the best place to have breakfast!! The options are ideal size, and everything is freshly made and they are really good at what they do! Great service and animal friendly! I highly recommend it!!!
Traveler's perspective: This place is awesome! Perfect if you're traveling with kids because they get to choose the items for a breakfast board combo. Also, hallelujah, you can get a pot of "filter" coffee. This is wonderful if you're American and missing your "regular" coffee like we make in our coffeemakers at home. The food was extremely tasty. We sat outdoors and it was great for people watching.
Let me start off with the fact that although this place is famous for it's brunch/breakfast, if there is an off chance you are it the mood for lunch this place serves amazing sandwiches. The wait is long, even in the rain, but the hostess is not ill equipped. As you come in she will not let you down by giving you an estimate, but will be realistic and show you where you would be in the list she makes in a composition notebook. If you agree to wait for this amazing breakfast, she will hand you a pencil and a menu. While you wait (I waited about 20 min in the rain outside) you can labor over the difficult task of picking what you would like to eat. You can pick 3,5, or 7 items off the list although my friend and I both picked 4 and split the bill. TIP: if you you like coffee while you wait, it is available to order inside. When you are seated you are helped out and there is complementary water. The waiter takes your menus. The food is worth the wait It is delicious. I would recommend the cinnamon bun, the salmon, and the carrot-apple-ginger juice. Great for Instagram too!
