Manfreds - Review

Manfreds is a restaurant in Denmark that believes in creative cooking in a closed place with closed tables and nearly 20 bar chairs. This is popular among people who visit daily. This is also known as the daily restaurant. The food that you get is simple and cooked without spices, yet it is tasty. The dessert offered by this place is really good and you should not miss it. The chef’s choice of the day can be ordered, if you want to try something extraordinary. The dish will definitely surprise you as you will not have any idea about what’s cooking.

Manfreds, Copenhagen Reviews

  • Brilliant restaurant on a very cool street in Copenhagen. Mainly sharing dishes focusing on the quality and freshness of the (locally sourced) produce. Plenty of vegetarian options and they were also able to accommodate a vegan diet. Worth phoning ahead if you are vegan just to check the menu that day. As is the case in Copenhagen the wine was very expensive so we stuck to the lovely draft ales. Final bill was quite decent given how good it was. Very friendly attentive service too. Booking definitely advised

  • What a brilliant place to eat! The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving great advice on the food (and other places to visit in copenhagen!) And the food! The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend!

  • We had the tasting menu for two with natural wine pairings and it was incredible. A real eye opener on simple but superb cooking. Great flavours with excellent wines. The price is certainly not for an every day meal but I'd return at any opportunity! Bravo to the team.

  • The most underwhelming meal I have ever had. Whilst service with perhaps one waiter was good, I can’t say it was service with a smile, and we were made to feel like a nuisance by another. I love healthy, fresh food, cooked well, but when paying a significant amount of money for the sharing taste menu, I expected more than 6 plates of grilled leaves and a tiny tiny plate of thinly sliced cucumber. I really tried to be impressed by the food, but this place really seems to run off the back of the owners arrogance. From looking at the recent reviews on trip advisor, it seems this place used to be good. The owner needs to come back down to earth and stop living off his name!

  • Really good place for a different experience. Didn't blow my mind though. But once there don't miss the tartar, is amazing. And don't sit at the back: it's claustrophobic! Another thing to say is that they are not sooo kind. That's sad.
