Known to be a place ‘for everything and everyone’, Ofelia Plads’s cultural scene surpasses any other place in Copenhagen. In 2012, the Royal Danish Theatre and Jeudan came together to test the response the Ofelia Beach would get if it was converted to a cultural hub. The place received a stunning response for the Sand Sculpture Festival, Opera, plays, Ballet, live concerts and the Copenhagen Design Week and soon the cultural community grew around what is currently known as Ofelia Plads.
Com here in the mornings to grab a cup of coffee or simply to see anything from the state of the art design and light shows, tango performances, small circus shows, puppet shows for children or contemporary dance pieces- the place will always have something new to offer. The view of the harbour is an added perk and a photograph of the gorgeous skyline of Copenhagen from here, is almost irresistible.

Finished my Ironman race here. Cool spot on the water with Opera House and historic ships in view.
Great place by the water. Has a nice view towards the opera house and in the summer they often have music events on Fridays
Great place. Yet another fantastic addition to the Cph harbour front.
Beautiful scenery of Copenhagen. Like standing on the water!
Ofelias plads is probably best in the summer season, but during this winter they also has a pretty cool art installation by FROST. I went there to take som photos of it and it was pretty damn cool!
