A part of Freetown Christiana, the Pusher Street has been through quiet a controversial past due to cannabis drug dealings here. The drug history of the place started in 2004 and began as a place where people could buy harsh drugs. In 2005 a shooting here made the locals take serious actions against the selling of drugs and in 2016, the locals took it to themselves to clean up the place and make this a friendly place where you can see some of the best graffiti artwork around Copenhagen.  Today, many stalls still sell marijuana around free town.

Take a walk around the place to see a more liberal, relaxed side of Copenhagen and don’t forget to explore the many shops that line the street.
