  • In short: Great looks, but VERY DISAPPOINTING SOUND EXPERIENCE. Long version: I was at the John Mayer concert in May 2017. The royal arena looks great from the inside and the outside. The organization seems to work well, as there were no long waiting times either for food, toilets, wardrobe, etc. So far so good. The bad: we stood right in front of the sound technician in the middle of the standing area. This is usually the place where you get the best sound experience. Not this time. THE ECHO WAS REALLY INTENSE, you heard every sound bounce to the back and to the front of the hall twice! How can this happen in a brand new location that is clearly made for music events?

  • Saw Ricky Gervais. Awesome. The seats could be larger and more spaced out

  • The sound is pretty good for an arena, although the bass is a bit muffled. The low rating is due to the architecture which is as dull as any but the most striking office buildings

  • Modern Sports and Entertainment arena with everything you need from beverages and food to comfortable seats. The upmanning in the sales places during larger events is however not always impressive (= long queues).

  • They were pretty slow at getting everyone inside, but the seating arrangement is great, and the halls inside are well designed. The bathrooms are very large as well, great! I really hate that they won't let you bring even a bottle of water, though! I went to a wrestling show, and the sound was clear and understandable. However, if they use the same speakers for concerts, I don't think the sound will be great...
