This tower is many things: a historical monument, an astronomical observatory, and a really good place from where to view Copenhageen panoramas. It’s construction in the 17th century was pecifically designed around it’s use for astronomy. Some of the prominent features are the seven and a half turn ramp, built so that horses and carriages could conviniently bring goods up to the top. Another ntoable feature is the toilet, which empties into a sealed and unventilated shaft, quite possibly making it one of the world oldest septic tanks. The tower makes for great photo opputuniites. You can see all the way to Sweden from the Observatory. Take the kids.

You walk to the top on a spiral ramp and there are lovely views over the top of Copenhagen. The man who worked there said I couldn't take my pram up so I had to carry our daughter all the way up and then on the way down I saw lots of other mums taking the prams up so just take the pram. It's also pretty steep and long
Great, interesting and reasonably priced (particularly for such an expensive city). The walk up the ramp is pleasant and considerably wide as apparently it was constructed to accommodate a horse and coach. Well worth the money for it's interesting design, history and views.
It is amazing place from where there is a magnificent view of the city. In the ramp to go up there are some interesting facts of the place that challenge you meanwhile going up. In the intermediate floors are expositions and shop of the tower.
Fantastic view. Visit the rest of Copenhagen first if possible, it will make you appreciate the landmarks you see from the top all the more. Definitely worth a visit and your time.
The environment friendly ramp to climb up the round Tower and the public toilets is as elder friendly as the descriptions on some windows. The 360 degree views of the city from the top is as beautiful as the library, bell room , tapestry exhibits and the puzzle welcoming visitors making the visit very thought provoking and memorable. I recommend everyone visiting Copenhagen from India not to miss the round Tower.
