Tivoli Gardens - Review
This is easily Copenhagens’s most popular attraction, drawing over four million visitors each year. The park is an exercise in fairy tale extravagance. Thousands of lights, hundreds of thousands of flowers, all arranged delightfully over 21 careflully landscaped acres. It’s rides too are famous, and include a wooden rollercoaster and the world’s tallest carousel. Pantomimes, picnics, boating, wall climbing, music performances and theatre might sound like a lot, but it’s still only the tip of the iceberg. Stick around till the evening; the gardens are beautiful in the night.

Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen Reviews
Loved this place! I'm not a fair ground/Disneyland kind of person so I wasn't sure what to expect. There are some really awesome rides for those who love the feeling of zero control and some for those who are building up courage and of course ones for the youngsters. There is a huge variety of food - many of them can be accessed outside of Tivoli - and places to hangout and just enjoy. The restrooms are clean and it feels like a nice and safe space to spend a few hours - Tivoli not the restrooms. At the end of the night there is a massive fireworks display which is impressively loud and kinda magical.
175 years old this year. Tivoli is beautiful. Come in the afternoon and stay til evening when the lights cast a magical glow on everything. Inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland. The food and variety is far superior to anything Disney. There are many restaurants and cafes to eat and there are many quiet spots away from the noise and crowds where you can sit on a comfortable bench by a water fountain and rest your eyes on lovely flowers and plants. There are quite a few rides, one of the most popular was the WWI airplane ride with two airplanes flying faster and faster and upside down in a dogfight scenario. My daughter loved it! There are also many gift shops with both inexpensive souvenirs and also expensive, but beautiful handmade Danish design items that are one of a kind. For 2018, there was also a parade commemorating the past 175 years. Not to be missed!
A must visit if you are in Copenhagen! Especially the evenings are beautiful. Lots of restaurants a good food. There was a swing music festival when I was there which was amazing! And the fire cracker show at the end of the night was beautiful as well. For thrill seekers lot of amazing rides in here. A wonderful evening spent!
Quite a traditional amusement park. There's lots of rides for all ages as well as old fashioned carnival amusements like target shooting and arcade games and ghost rides. There are also a lot of different restaurants and bars, in fact it feels like that's the main attraction in some ways. Food ranges from fast to gourmet although I wouldn't describe anything as particularly healthy. Good facilities as far as bathrooms and other basics are concerned. Value for money is average but you wouldn't expect a bargain at the city's premier tourist attraction.
Completely worth the trip as a one time event. It’s older and the rides are short but it’s so well decorated and I had fun on every ride. We got a lucky sunny fall day with no lines, but I would’ve waited a bit for most of them. The unlimited ride pass is worth it if you want to do even 3 rides, and the staff informed us of that before purchase. You can also enter the park for free with the Copenhagen card.
