Tug Hill State Forest is a forest located on the Tug Hill Plateau which is spread across an area of 12,242 acre. The Tug Hill Plateau is well known for its harsh winter and excessive snowfalls. Over 4.6 miles approximately, the highest gulf is followed by Oak Rim, John Young’s Trail and Inman Glide Trails. On the other side of the gulf, you can see the Rainbow Falls and its dewdrops entirely frigid in the winter which is about 100 feet. You can do winter and fall activities like snowshoe hare hunting and white-tailed deer, summer and spring activities like biking, brook trout fishing and hiking inside the Tug Hill State Forest.
