Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary, Corella Reviews

  • The Tarsier Sanctuary's visitor area in Corella is not as nice and doesn't have the massive souvenir shop that the Tarsier Conservation Area in Loboc has. The sanctuary in Corella does more to make sure visitors are quiet, do not use their camera flash and respect these rare and tiny primates. The 'conservation' in Loboc is more of the main tourist stop along the route to Chocolate Hills, but if you can control which location you stop at and prefer that your money goes towards a more responsible operation, I would choose the Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella.

  • The people here are very dedicated to the well being of the Tarsier and not about being a commercial enterprise. They were careful around the animals and helped take photos without disturbing them

  • Small but well kept operation. If you like seeing a very unique creature and helping it's survival this is the place!

  • Tarsiers are absolutely adorable! It is a must visit if you are in Bohol as they are such unique creatures that you will probably not see anywhere else! The walk through the sanctuary takes about 5 minutes.

  • Amazing experience even tough it's a little bit like a zoo. It's cool that everyone is quiet and you can almost touch these little primates
