Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary, Corella Reviews

Google+
  • Place could be spruced up a lot. However, the tarsiers were great. I like how the center made sure to protect the animals by enforcing quiet and not allowing petting of the primates.

  • Place is nice, cheap entrance. The good thing is that the tarsiers are free to leave whenever they want, but people are just rude. They are sleeping during the day, so one shouldn't bother them, but some tourists are not considerated. Local guides should fine disrespectful tourists

  • Good sanctuary. It's reasonably small, you get to see the animals. Go as early as possible since they're nocturnal and will go to sleep at around 10 am.

  • It was great to see these little primates up close in a well maintained area. However the young lady who walked us around was very impatient and seemed like she just wanted to go back and sit with the other guides or play on her phone. It felt all a bit rushed. Worth visiting though.

  • Nice sanctuary and like other reviews say, best to go at night. They sleep during the day so during that time you will only see them sleeping. It's a very quiet place and they are guarded well by the people that work well making sure people keep quiet.
