Everyman Palace Theatre - Review

Opened in 1897, the Everyman Palace Theatre stands true to its name- palace theatre! One of the few old theatres which still function in Ireland, tourists love to catch a live performance here only to have a peek in Ireland’s theatrical past.

The Victorian architecture with royal red velvet interiors is sure to make you feel like royalty while the performances here are a treat to share a space with. Watch the artists shine on stage while you take in the epical ambience of the place.

  • Went in expecting a wonderful experience with my girlfriend. Ended up having to sit away from each other for no reason and it seemed all the staff were on auto record and kept repeating sorry sir its full there is nothing we can do. I was so annoyed that I asked my partner to leave with me. Never again will I step foot in there. First and last experience.

  • A beautiful, victorian style theatre which can really add to the atmosphere of the performance. They have a really nice bar too should you want a little something at the interval.

  • It's a beautiful space and really enjoy the performances here. staff are friendly and atmosphere is lovely. only thing I would have a complaint about is the use of plastic cups and straws in the bar. I understand its to take drinks inside, but an alternative would be great.

  • Fantastic plays on but on the last two visits during the heatwave it was too hot in the theatre & on one occasion a lady had to leave because she was fainting.I don't know what the air conditioning situation is but it was uncomfortable. We had a pint in the bar afterwards before enjoying the nightlife on MacCurtain Street which has improved a lot in the last few years.Great nights out & will be going again soon.

  • Went to see Asking For It... excellent play. The Everyman is a lovely theatre, well laid out and easy access by foot or car. There is also a lovwly little pub inside so it's nice to arrive early if you fancy a pre-show refreshment.
