This is by far one of the best museums in the world. Everything from the architecture, the history of glass, the contemporary exhibitions, the industrial innovations to the hot glass demonstrations & make your own glass workshops was impeccable. We went back a second day to see more and revisit our favorite parts. The gift shop is enormous and the cafe has a variety of fresh meals. The town of Corning makes a wonderful destination for a charming and inspiring weekend trip.
Grate Experience Visited on the Memorial weekend. This Museum has some very interesting glass exhibits, the hot glass show was a blast. I really liked the shuttle bus service from the parking lot to the Museum. Although 17$ admission is a bit pricey IMO.
Absolutely enjoyed the staying there. Corning museum is one of the dedicated museum for glass work. They have a nice collection at their gift shop. Outstanding art works. They have demonstrations where you can lively see how they create their arts. According my experience, if you need to see and experience every thing there, you may spend at least half day. One good thing is; they have short period glass blowing classes also. Strongly recommend to anyone "Corning Museum".
We took our school there for a field trip today. Very friendly staff and getting the tour was the best thing we did. Watching the Live Hot Glass Demo was very interesting. I’ll be back again to see more.
One of the best museum experiences I've ever had. Interactive and breathtaking allthroughout. Wasn't sure what to expect but the entire experience blew me away. Originally thought I'd be there for a few hours and ended up spending the whole day!
