Kayangan Lake, Coron Reviews - Write a Review
Usually the last destination for most of the tours (as the saying goes, save the best for last). This is one of my favorites in the Island hopping trip. You have to climb up the stairs and see the breathtaking splendor of Coron. It was a beautiful scenery even though it was raining the time we visited. Tourists are required to wear their life vest at all times (even if you're a pro swimmer) when visiting Kayangan Lake because of the high composition of freshwater vs saltwater. If im not mistaken it's 70% freshwater 30% saltwater. Definitely one for the books!
Awesome place!! Crystal waters! Looks like sea water but it’s only slightly salted. On the way to the lake, take a moment to gaze the great view from the top!
Beautiful crystal clear water and spectacular view at the top. You have to go up 100+ steps to see the view then go down 200+ steps to get to the lake. Not that accessible but all worth it. The rules are for safety and must be followed at all times 👍👍👍
This is the signature island on the Coron tour. The water is so nice to swim in. Although expect a slightly difficult hike going up(closely guard your senior citizens and children). Also expect a lot of tourists here.
The last stop in our private island hopping tour with Calamianes Expedition was the best stop. The view was amazing from the boat entering the island's port, the view was amazing on top of the stairs going up the the cliff. And the lake itself was amazing, with clear water and ringed by trees and nature.
