Selena Memorial Statue, also known as Mirador de la Flor, is a monument built in honor of the Tejano singer - Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, who was murdered at a very early age. Selena was known as the ‘Queen of Tejano Music’ and was a highly regarded entertainer in the late 20th century. Her tragic death in 1995 was mourned by many and was considered to be a great loss in the music fraternity.
