Overview of Croton Gorge Park
Built at the base of New Croton Dam, the Croton Gorge Park is spread across a vast land of 97 acres. This is a beautiful park that has the Old Croton Trail - best for hiking or walking, as well as a baseball field and a stunning fountain operated by the high pressure water from the dam reservoir. The park is beautified by waterfalls that are a sight to behold. You can either enjoy your time in the park or travel up the road to reach the aqueduct of the dam which offers breathtaking views of the reservoir on one side and that of valley on the other. The park is an absolute favorite amongst public for fishing, sledding, and cross-country skiing. It also offers many spots for picnicking along with friends and family. Visit this park if you are looking for a place that is ideal to enjoy a fun weekend.

Croton Gorge Park Reviews & Ratings
Beautiful location! Perfect combination of the power of nature and human ingenuity. Take the time to walk around and enjoy it, go down to the river or have a picnic! Well worth the drive
The water is beautiful. Come with food, there are no stands. My puppy was so happy to run along on the grass. Great family excursion. 10 bucks for parking during the peak season.
I enjoy riding my motorcycle from Manhattan (where I live & work) to Croton Gorge Park. This is a great place to visit. The waterfall is beautiful and the park is very clean. The only thing that stopped me from giving this place a 5 star rating is the price of parking. Motorcycles have to pay full price for parking even though we take up less than half the space of a car. Outside of that, I highly recommend Croton Gorge Park for anyone who loves nature, picnicking, hiking, and fishing.
Calm and relaxing place. You can picnic here while enjoying the view of the beautiful dam. You can do trails as well and walk down to the river too. There's a small playground area for kids to play and the bathrooms are close by as well. Beautiful place.
This is a beautiful park in Croton that is definitely worth a visit. It's a great spot to hike, picnic, and relax. It is definitely a scenic place.
