Overlooking the Cotuit Bay, the Ropes Beach features a narrow beachfront. This beach also doubles as a boat launch and hosts sailing lessons and runs local yacht club races. During season time, the beach is open from 9 in the morning till 9 at night and has a lifeguard on duty. This beach is also home to the Mosquito Yacht Club that was established in 1950.
Ropes Beach Reviews & Ratings
Small public beach. Water not so desire able. With a boat launch and boats moared just a few lengths out, it begs for a rainbow shimmer of oil on water. Beach is clean from locals policing the garbage themselves. When asked a smoker quickly extinguished a lit smoke on this smoke free space. Maybe a dozen paved parking spots and many street parking spots. YOU MUST HAVE A PERMIT! Good beach to not be crowded and get some sun while kids play in the sun. Keep water activities to kayak, paddle board, etc.
Small and cozy. Perfect sunrise spot. Residents parking only.
