  • The light and sound show is great and nice to see that there is planned expansion and that should make it an even more enjoyable visit. The downside is currently the entrance/ticket office is a small shed structure and the shop is minimal to this effect. Hopefully the expansion will address this.

  • An excellent location to experience what the Normandy invasions were all about. Lot's of remaining bunkers to visit, with the museum being located insider the bunkers themselves. You learn all about the raid on this battery including interesting stuff about use of gliders in the attack. A restored C47 airplane is on premises to round out the collection. The sound and light show inside the last bunker is as intense as they make it sound. For a few minutes you feel like you're in the bunker while it's under attack from bombers and infantry. Definitely not for little kids. I appreciate the effort the folks who maintain this site went to making this a memorable experience.

  • Excellent museum, tranquil and peaceful. Well maintained, very interesting, happy to recommend it. Maybe in a few years with a new visitor centre maybe a cafe might be added.

  • Museum does a great job of telling the story of the assault to take this battery. Great artifacts and everything is well represented in English. Closes Nov 15 for the season, be aware of that date.

  • A wonderfully atmospheric and emotional experience. Very informative about what happened at this Gun battery on 6th June 1944 and the days following. Such incredible bravery.
