The Sand is almost pink and the water is a beautiful greenish colour. If you are going to Greece to experience the perfect beach holiday, this will be a great addition to your itinerary. • This Beach we loved. I loved the pink send although I was expecting all the sand at the beach to be pink but it was only pink where you entered the water. It was a lovely Beach they had a beach ball a great Cafe great selection of food, chips, Cold drinks. Efficient fast service cos they are always busy and the canteen is close to the beach Bar / lounge chairs that you lay on. Some really good shops along the way to the beach as well that you could buy flip-flops, souvenirs and towels from. The sun chairs were reasonably priced too. The water was come and you could swim in this beach without any problems. Overall my friends and I liked it most

  • Fantastic beach with amazing warm and clear water. It is quite popular, so best to get here by about 11 or 11:30 am, at which point the tour buses/hordes descend. Several tips: - Umbrella with 2 chairs cost 9 euros, essentially stake it out if it's open and then pay later - Water is super shallow until almost 300 feet from shore on both sides - There are changing stations and showers for free, although the restroom costs 1 euro and there is usually a bit of a line

  • This place is beautiful. Alas, with it comes thousands of tourists. If you want to spend some time alone, arrive early and walk past the sunbeds to the other small island. It's only knee-deep water to wade through. Then walk for 5-10 min more and you'll be almost alone. Until the busloads of tourists arrive around noon at least. The area is guarded because of its fauna, please respect the limitations and don't step outside the path. Also it would be great if you could pick up some of the small plastic pieces you find and put them in the trash. Toilets cost 0.5-1 euro, and the closest taverna let's you takeaway food. Just remember your garbage 🙂

  • Without a shadow of doubt the best part of the holiday beautiful sandy beaches, shallow pools perfect for young families, babies and children. Open sea snorkeling (you must bring a snorkel) to enjoy seeing lots of fishes just yards from your finger tips over the smooth rocks. Pack plenty of factor 50 other parts of the island may have poor weather by crete standards but this place is its own Paradise

  • The beach is so stunning! I love the water and the lagoons. The water is shallow for a very long time which makes it perfect for relaxing. I recommend coming early as the beach is very popular. Also, the sand is pink, but barely. This is truely one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
