Georgioupolis Beach - Review

Cretan beaches are some of the most fascinating ones in the world and the Georgioupolis Beach is no different. Although it is privately owned, tourists are allowed to visit and the white sand and the blue-green water is most definitely inviting.

The biggest appeal for tourists for this place is that it is extremely clean and well kept. This makes the beach quite popular with beach lovers who just want to soak in the sun, the sand and the sea. You can swim in the gushing and roaring water or take a quiet nap on one of the many sun beds for hire. If you are looking for a relaxing place to go to, this is the one to choose.

  • Great lovely hotel right by the beach. Really nice restaurant and bar on the roof with great food and drinks. Has 3 open Jacuzzies and a Sauna on the roof as well. Great for couples and families. All together - for sure we'll be back :))

  • Overall a decent hotel for the small beach town. I had an overnight stay and enjoyed the great views and the convenient location. Mattress was super comfy. I had a few issues though. Room air conditioning did not circulate the air well. Elevator is not available 24 hours and the lobby is not 24 hours. After hours require guests to walk up stairs if you are on the second floor. If short stay, would not hesitate recommending.

  • Nice hotel with many facilities including a Spa. Amazing Rooftop restaurant with the best view. Clean and comfortable rooms. highly recommend.

  • Absolutely love this hotel. Been comimg here for years. Hotel has recently undergone refurbishment and has improved massively. The staff are so friendly and happy. They look like they really enjoy working here. The food is lovely and we enjoy eating on the rooftop terrace overlooking the pool and sea. This hotel offers a pool, kids pool, hot tubs, sauna and spa. Would highly reccomend.

  • the view is amazing from the restaurant, seats were very comfortable, staff was friendly but we had to wait for the food for over an hour, our shrimps and schnitzel were burned. the rest of the food was mediocre. wouldn’t recommend going here for food but going for drinks is ok.
