  • Wow what an amazing place to go see it is a bit a of a walk to get down to the bottom but the are steps all the way down so no special footwear need for this. There is a place half way down where you can sit and take in the breath taking views. There is also a nice little church near the bottom where you can go In it is windy round this valley so keep a hold onto your hat as it may blow away. There is a small river and waterfalls at the bottom and you can see how the river used to run though also it did look a little tired up for now. It is well worth a vist and you might see some mountain goats on the hills so it is amazing to see how they get up those steep hills.

  • The top car park alongside the road gives good views of the gorge but you can't easily get down into it from there. There is a lower smaller car park near the church which has a proper path you can follow to descend into the gorge and see the church. We followed this down to a bridge where you can see the waterfalls.

  • One of the gorges of Crete. It has beautiful landscape with great view. It's wonderful to stop and admire the view or to start walking inside.

  • Great to drive through, but once you've got out the car and had a look around, there's not much more you can do.

  • As a kid I always like an adventure, and this was really cool. Very pretty sight, and when you get down to the water, it is even better. It may be really cold, but there is a waterfall, rocks, and I would definitely go again. Also we met people from all over the world who were very friendly
