Sasteria is a specially formed privately run observatory in Greece. It is a place to learn, explore and enjoy the ancient art of Astronomy with modern techniques and equipment. The shows and exhibits they put up are absolutely spectacular and families will find it to be a lovely place to visit in Crete.

The theme of this interactive museum of sorts is to combine astronomy with artwork and it does so beautifully. From watching the stars to imaginatively painting them, you will find a lot of different things to do here and there are a lot of different packages and experiences depending upon what you want to explore. There are both rolling and permanent exhibits making the place an absolute delight.
