  • If you are remotely in the area, move this place to the top of your list! $25 for adults and less for kids. Amazing tour and tour guides, ab an hour long and so informative and fun too. They run the machines and tell history. The mine car ride was great and the free rock with gold or silver at the end was a nice souvenir. Highly recommend

  • Excellent history lesson. Guides were once miners. So much better too see this museum than to just read about pictures under glass. Only 4 stars because i feel the price is a bit high. A family should not have to give up a days wages to see an hours worth of history.

  • Wish I had picture to share. I was so busy enjoying the tour I forgot to take photos! Jack was out guide. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining! Worth every penny and remember to keep a little bit to tip your Guide!

  • This tour is the most informative and interesting tour. You go down 1000ft, yes for real, 1000 FEET! It’s insane, you go down a 9 person elevator shaft for about 2.5 minutes and stay down there for about 30 minutes, then back up. But while your down there, you get to see and hear what it was really like! Very awesome and very informative and you get a nice little gift at the end! Worth the money 100%!!!!

  • This was a great family experience. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgable. Beware that the elevator ride down is very cramped! It wasn't too bad though, it helped to get a better feel for what the original miners experienced. Overall a fun time and well worth it if you're in the area
