It is a lovely patio built in the 16th century era and was owned by the banker and merchant Gabriel Zaporta. You can see the glimpses of Argonese architecture here with its beautiful courtyards and wonderful decorations. Its greatly reflects the culture and lifestyle of that time and has been a subject of intrigue for many who like to interpret them in different ways. The major topic of discussion would be Emperor Charles V and the marriage of Zaporta and Sabina. Later, around 19th century, the building suffered hugely due to various reasons and was demolished, leaving only the patio for tourists. The patio is named ‘Patio de la Infanta’ on the name of the wife of infant Don Luis. Still, it is undeniable that it has a very long history to it and it’s a perfect subject for those interested in the country’s colours. A must visit place is Zaragoza.
