One of the few churches dedicated to Mother Mary, Parish of St. Mary Magdalane is popularly known as the Parroquia de Santa Maria Magdalena. St. Mary Magdalene is one of the most widely celebrated Christian saints and it is believed that she was the first one to witness Jesus after his resurrection.
