Flamenco Beach, Culebra Reviews - Write a Review
The most beautiful beach I've ever seen! So secluded and relaxing. If you're in Puerto Rico this is a must! Get to the ferry terminal early because it sells out quick!
Horrible camping experience If your idea of camping is without any privacy, crammed with loud and obnoxious drunk people, close enough for you to hear someone snoring in the tent next to you, then this might be the place you're looking for. The facilities are disgusting, people throw their trash everywhere. I've literally seen dirty diapers in the shower, only steps away from the garbage can. There's absolutely no way to get any rest in this place. We went after the weekend hoping to find the campground less crowded, but they decided to cleanup sections of the campground so they crammed everyone in the same section. They woke us up before sunrise (5:30 am) for us to move our tent, even though our area was clean because I took care of picking up all the garbage on the ground when we arrived. After pitching our tent in a different section, we went to the beach and came back in the afternoon, only to find our tent was the only one in that section. You guessed it, they made us move it TWICE! The next day, we were awaken by the delightful and peaceful sound of CHAINSAWS, WEED EATERS AND LEAF BLOWERS at 6:00am. This place would be wonderful if people picked up after themselves. It's very sad and disappointing to see the ONLY campground in Culebra being it so neglected. Note that this review is for the campground only, it has nothing to do with the beach which is truly beautiful. Pictures don't even do it any justice. But do yourself a favour and avoid camping there, you will most likely regret it. It's a 30$ you'll be glad to spend elsewhere.
One of the top best beaches of the world. I love this place. If you come to Puerto Rico you must stop here at least for a whole day.
Beautiful bright blue beach, kissed with powdery white sand. There are plenty of uniquely colored wild chickens, roosters and turtles for the kids to enjoy. There are also a few little places to grab a bite to eat.
