Stone walls were impressive great views of the city. Tranquil and nice to make it a loop with checking out White Jesus.
Beautiful place, It is a must if you travel to Peru - Cuzco
Only 20mins walking from downtown! The scenery was great! There was a rainbow when I went there, which makes everything else look extra beautiful. The downside is expensive entrance ticket :(
I climbed up there on 9/9/17. You can get a tour bus at (30 to 40)sole in the Plaza de Arms. You have to pay very expensive entrance fee about 100 over soles for 4 to 5 places that even you're not interested. They fenced up the whole area and even common area that they can't fenced up, they deployed guard to look out for tourist. Only local people can pass through. You can actually see the attraction outside the fence and with a good zoom lence you can capture all the picture. Is nothing great, just seeing giant stone here and there. A lot of walking even go by tour bus because no transport inside the monuent compound!
A must visit enroute to Machu picchu. Best experience if with a guide who can explain the history of the place. Still in awe how the stones were cut with such precision all these centuries ago.
