  • Absolutely wonderful campsite! Just to be clear, there is no wifi, no showers and the bathrooms are clean but basic so if you're looking for a . campground with all of the amenities this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a campground that's close to nature then this is it. We stayed at a wooded campsite on the main circle that was lovely and felt very private as far as campsites go. Our site was across from the bathroom and originally we were worried about a potential smell but everything was very clean and there were no problems. We liked Black Hills enough to add on an extra night and moved to a lake-view campsite which had a little less privacy but made up for it with a phenomenal view. The lake was fun to swim in, there were great trails right from the campground, and the stars were of course amazing. Best of all were the hosts who were incredibly kind and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and were able t help us with any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back and are so glad we stayed!

  • Great campsite near Mount Rushmore. Awesome views.

  • Fantastic campground within close proximity to one of our nation's greatest monuments.

  • Beautiful area and campground. Very lovely views. Just disappointed that we paid $22 a night and there were no showers. But you can jump in the lake lol. Also very central to everything. Close to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, & heading back west. I would chose to stay here next time.

  • Great camp spot. Beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean. The lake is close by and makes for a great little hike.
