This hill station west of Da Nang is the local favourite weekend retreat. It was founded in 1919 by the French. Since accommodation is not upscale, or even well organised, the best way to visit is on a day trip. And though you can drive up the mountain, it's MUCH better to take the funicular which rises 400 metres. You can board the cable car at the address given in the tips and warnings. You'll be clicking pics of the landscape every second.
The attraction is nothing like Vietnam itself. At the top, you'll find a replica French Provincial Town, a funicular railway that rises further up the mountain, a luge track that'll take you downhill again. Close to the 27 metre tall Shakyamuni statue is the Debay wine cellar. The 7-hectare Le Jardind'Amour is a lovely flower garden; check out the terraced spring area. Then there's Fantasy Park, based on the novels of Jules Verne. There's the Alpine Coaster, the only double spiral roller coaster track in the country.
Landmarks to check out:
LinhUng Pagoda, Linh Chua LinhTu Temple, LinhPhongTu Tower, the Campanile, the Tombstone Temple, the Ba Shrine, and the TruVuTraQuan.

I went at night so I can't comment on the entirety of the amusement park but even at night it was a great experience. The park was enchanting and genuinely made you feel as if you were in a different place. Originally we had come for the Golden Bridge but enjoyed the rest of the park just as much. If you go after around 4:00-5:00, you pay a cheaper price with buffet included (around 550000 dong for both instead of 700000 for just entry, I believe). The cable car was also a great experience. When we went at night, it was foggy and had a super eerie but enjoyable vibe. The buffet was decent. Not the best but definitely not the worst. They also have live music playing.
The cable car transports you to a fantasy world high above the forested mountains where the French built a retreat from the heat. This has been and still is expanding to a world class theme park. You can spend a wonderful day on the amusement rides or games or wandering around the large grounds admiring the amazing architecture with different cultural themes eg French, Asian. The buffet ( included in our tour price) was amazing. There is also the Beer Hall with good golden or dark lager. Of course the new famous Golden Bridge held up in the two hands.
Stunning place and such a long cable car ride to get to it. Well worth a visit , myself I rented a scooter and drove up to it which is cool to do. Not the cheapest I'd say as it's called a theme park but not really loads of rides like you'd think(although there are few small ones there) it's more themed as in like an old French city theme but still a to do thing on your list of things to do I think
Sure is a great cable cart ride (longest in the world!). Once you reach the top you can continue even further and enter the so called 'French village' which is much like some kind of Disney theme park. The newly opened Golden Bridge is stunning however. Do mind the masses that all go up and want to take pictures there.
Very interesting theme park. The cable car ride is a nice experience, but may be scary for those afraid of heights. Lots of fogs in the late afternoon and cannot see anything. In the day time, quite busy with lots of tourists. Some rides need to wait a long time. The directions are not good and not easy to find where to go for breakfast or dinner if you are buying a package with hotel. The famous Golden Bridge is worth seeing. Worth visiting if you are in Danang. Better deal if you buy the package if you plan to stay there overnight.
