Son Tra Mountain - Review
How much time you spend on this beautiful 693 metre high mountain depends on how much you want to do. If you're just here for the Lady Buddha statue then this ought to be a quick trip. But there's a lot more to see. For starters, the peninsula on which the mountain rises has three beaches nestled at its base. The sweeping roads of the mountain are very popular with bikers (the road is quite steep so vehicles need to be powerful). The Vietnamese military has a helipad nearby which is a great lookout point. Hiking trails criss-cross the mountain's protected forests; wildlife include rhesus macaques, long-tailed macaques, pygmy slow loris, and red-shanked douc langurs. From the beaches to the summit takes more than 4 hours of hiking.

Son Tra Mountain, Da Nang Reviews
Highly recommended for photos and views. Unless you're from the area or speak the language, it's rather difficult to figure out how to make it to the top of the mountain. We wanted to hike, but ended up renting a cab that took us only a little way up. Even from where we were, the view was magnificent! A couple was having their wedding pictures taken nearby. Renting a scooter from somewhere in town is probably your best option if you want to make it closer to the top.
Located in the breathtaking national park in Danang is home to rare species such as rhesus macaques, long-tailed macaques, and pygmy slow loris. The mountain is a favorite of animal lovers and adventure seekers while traveling in Vietnam due to the nature, surrounding landscapes, and the challenge of getting up to the peak
It's beautiful than Hai Van Pass, the beach is amazingly beautiful. Trees, mountains, monkeys, nature, rides, views, amazingly wonders and worth the drive and visits. Ban Co peak was worth the view on the top.
A must visit heavy with tourist but you can find a spot were you can reflect and have a moment. The bonsai trees are amazing and the buhda of compasion is beautiful.
Don't be put off by the very steep incline, it is certainly worth it, believe me. The scenery from the top is jaw dropping and the clouds breeze past you to keep you cool.
