Binhai road is the 32 kilometres long stretch beside the south seashore of Dalian city. The road was built in 1970’s for combat purposes and currently runs through 12 main sceneries along the coastline. The Binhai road stretch is considered to be one of the best roads to tour in the region, a drive on the road takes you through the sparkling weather and deep blue waters of the Dalian bay. During the spring season, you can see rolling ranges with mixed coniferous forest and piedmont with red azalea on one side. Driving besides the wide misty waters of the Dalian bay, you will experience mesmerizing scenery, with reefs and islands of different forms and sizes along the way. The driving speed limit is 40 km/h and there are plenty spots to stop in between to dine or take a view.
