  • The fair is a unique experience but the buildings and statues built in 1936 are simply incredible. Like no where else. I could look at them for hours. Totally under appreciated. I thought so when I visited in 1956 at 5 years old and still do 60+ years later.

  • One of the older buildings at the fair, and it shows. Host to half of the car show during the State Fair of Texas, and to a variety of other trade shows and events throughout the year, the huge open floor plan serves it's exact purpose. There's a large main area which the bathrooms are located in, as well as a food service area, and a large hallway leading to a smaller area. From a vendor standpoint, loading in and out is incredibly easy due to the fact there are multiple spots all around the building you can drive up or in to. Roof seems to have some leaks during heavy rain and the bathrooms are a bit dated, but overall the building fits it's needs well.

  • We usually visit this building during the State Fair and it's always well decorated. The building is large with a couple of sets of restrooms and with a concessionaire with a decent sized seating area. The newest models of cars are displayed each year and some of the car companies even have special events or giveaways. We always make it a tradition to make it to the car show each year.

  • It was cool, different from the usual I see in my town every day.

  • Beautiful building. I have lived in DFW for most of my 50 years and believe this was my first stop in. Went on a Monday during the fair. Not busy and great option of free ac.
