Something for the whole family, all in one stop. Indoor\outdoor pavilions and a Texas garden perfect for photo options. Try something new today.
There's so much charm here. There's lots of food spots, lots of food and produce, lots of flowers and lots fun. Honestly it's a great date idea. I took my S.O. there on a date to check out the shops before Halloween. It was so delightful. And it's great to support local food and local farmers.
Pretty fancy and modern farmers market. Good for small and quick foods as well as Korean/Asian foods. But not much traditional and antiques. Very reasonable parking fee I.e. $1 per hour
Three words of advice: 1. Be patient with parking. There are three key places to park. By the garden center (give me all the plants please), the limited parking lining the actual market ($1/hr), and the limited free public parking in the parking garage below the closest brownstone apartment complex. 2. Visit often. There are always things going on Saturday. Booths and seasonal events. 3. Arrive hungry. The actual Market is where all the food shops are, but wander over to The Shed and you might find a few more food booths that catch your fancy!
Cool place I guess. Coming from out of state though I wouldn't consider it much of a farmers market considering there were a lot more commercial products and corporations than actual farmers. It's fun if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday but most of the stuff I bought ended up being a bad product. My advice: save your money and go to a whole foods or something. It's basically the same.
